Hello, I am Mary Allen. I gave my life to Jesus in 1974.Since then, God and I have journeyed through some rough spots together and I believe He has given me a story to share with other women. I just finished my first novel, Crying in the Morgue, Laughing in the Dark about how God helped me work through the difficult seasons in my life. I went back to school when my children were young adults to study nursing and I became an RN at 50. I currently work at a job I adore as a home health nurse. I love having a positive impact on the people who pass through my life.
I have been married to the same wonderful man since 1977. We live in the Sacramento/Sierra area. We have been blessed with 3 children (2 children-in-law) and 8 grandchildren.
My hobbies include singing, writing, reading, antiquing with my honey and laughing. Loads of laughing.
